Vocal Recording Process in Four Steps

Studio Workflow Methodology

The workflow begins with the connection between the technician and the artist. We do not simply press the record button; we provide guidance on breathing, posture, and vocal dynamics. We use near-field monitors in the control room for precise supervision and high-fidelity headphones so the singer can hear themselves clearly without the risk of bleed into the microphone.

During the session, we maintain a rigorous record of every take. The use of tube microphones allows us to add natural harmonic saturation, helping the voice sit better in the mix without excessive digital processing. Each session is managed with a strict timer to optimize the client's time, ensuring all planned sections of the song are covered.

Client Preparation

To maximize session efficiency, it is fundamental that the artist arrives with lyrics memorized or in a legible format. We recommend bringing a backing track in WAV or high-quality MP3 format. If the song requires complex harmonies, having a prior scheme of the secondary vocals is helpful.

Deliverables and Final Results

Upon completion, the client receives digital files via a secure download link. We deliver tracks in WAV format (standard 24-bit / 44.1 kHz or higher, as agreed), ensuring no loss of quality. The package includes the selected takes and, if requested, the separated vocal stems.

Files are delivered clean of external noise and with normalized volume to prevent clipping. It is important to note that this is a recording service; if you need these vocals integrated into a final song, you can contract our Mixing and Mastering service.

Delivery Times and Availability

Recording is a real-time process, so the capture ends when the session finishes. However, the primary editing and file export process can take between 24 and 48 business hours. Sessions are scheduled strictly by prior reservation to ensure the equipment is configured specifically for the client's timbre.

For urgent session requests, the response time to the reservation request is a maximum of 24 hours, according to our internal management rules. We remind clients that any change in the session date must be notified at least 3 days in advance to avoid additional charges.

What is NOT included in the service

It is essential to clarify that vocal recording does not include lyric composition, melody creation, or the musical production of the backing track. It also does not include the final mixing of the song with instruments or mastering for streaming platforms. The service is limited to the technical capture and basic editing of the vocal signal.

Price Calculation and Taxes

Our rates are based on the time of studio use and specialized technical support. Prices are presented both including VAT and excluding it to facilitate accounting for professional clients and companies (B2B). In Spain, the applicable VAT for these services is 21%.

For corporate clients, payment is managed via invoice with a term of 15 calendar days. For independent artists, a 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the studio slot.
