Instrument and Band Recording

We capture the organic energy of your ensemble using an acoustic infrastructure designed for high sonic fidelity in the heart of Valencia.

Music band recording instruments in Sticketzyra main live room in Valencia

Recording a full band requires more than simply placing microphones in front of amplifiers. At Sticketzyra, we understand that the interaction between musicians is the soul of a song. For this reason, we provide a main live room with professional acoustic treatment that allows for instrument isolation while maintaining rhythmic cohesion and the natural quality of the ambient sound.

Our approach focuses on technical precision and artistic sensitivity. Whether you seek a dry, controlled sound for a modern production or the openness of an organic room for a jazz or classic rock project, our technical team adjusts the room configuration and the signal chain to optimize every frequency. We utilize tube microphones and near-field monitors to ensure that what we hear at the console is exactly what is captured in the digital recording.

Recording process in four steps

01

Technical Planning

We analyze your band's instrumentation and song structures to define microphone placement and track management within the DAW.

02

Setup and Soundcheck

Equipment installation in the live room. We perform level tests and phase adjustments to prevent sonic cancellations between different microphones.

03

Take Capture

Recording of rhythm sections and instrumental layers. We prioritize organic execution, performing the necessary takes until the desired result is achieved.

04

File Consolidation

Noise cleaning, selection of the primary takes, and organization of files for the subsequent mixing and mastering phase.

Who is this service for?

This service is designed specifically for musical groups seeking a professional and cohesive result. We work with rock, pop, jazz, indie bands, and chamber ensembles that require detailed multi-track capture. It is also a suitable option for independent producers who need to record external instrumentalists in a controlled and acoustically optimized environment in Valencia.

If your project requires several musicians to play simultaneously to maintain the "groove" and natural dynamics, our capacity to accommodate up to 6 musicians at once makes our studio a viable space. We avoid excessive fragmentation of the recording process, allowing the group's chemistry to translate into the final audio.

Studio work methodology

The session begins with a brief technical meeting where the Sticketzyra producer and the band agree on the tone and intention of each piece. Once the objectives are defined, we proceed with the strategic placement of instruments in the room. We use advanced miking techniques, combining close microphones for detail and room microphones to capture spatiality.

During recording, the technician constantly monitors levels to avoid digital clipping, ensuring each signal has the necessary headroom for the mixing stage. Communication with musicians is handled through independent monitoring systems, allowing each member to hear the mix that best suits their performance.

Necessary preparation for the client

To optimize studio time and reduce costs, it is fundamental that the band arrives with the songs fully rehearsed. Studio time is dedicated to recording, not to composing or rehearsing. We recommend bringing a simple demo of the songs so the technician can understand the structure and critical points of each track.

Musicians are responsible for bringing their instruments in proper working order, with new strings on guitars and basses, and optimized heads on drums. We also suggest reviewing our session budget planning guide to organize recording times efficiently and avoid extra costs due to lack of preparation.

Deliverables and final results

Upon completion of the recording process, the client receives an organized digital folder containing: audio files in WAV format (high resolution, 24-bit / 48kHz or higher), separated multi-tracks by instrument, and basic stems if requested. All files are delivered without destructive processing, allowing the mixing engineer full creative freedom.

In addition to the raw files, we provide a session report with a list of takes selected as "keepers," facilitating the post-production stage. The delivery timeframe for these files is immediate upon session completion or within a maximum of 48 hours if basic track cleaning is required.

Deadlines and execution times

The duration of the recording depends entirely on the complexity of the project and the number of tracks. A standard instrument session usually ranges from a full day to several sessions distributed over a week. It is important to coordinate dates in advance, as the availability of the main room is subject to prior bookings.

For extensive projects, such as a full album, we recommend scheduling blocks of full days to take advantage of the reduced rate. Please note that any extension of the reserved hour will be subject to the studio's availability at that moment.

Service exclusions

It is important to clarify that the instrument recording service does not include composition, musical direction, or the writing of arrangements, unless an additional production service is specifically contracted. It also does not include final mixing or mastering, which are independent processes detailed in our mixing and mastering section.

Furthermore, the rental of specific instruments (boutique amplifiers, keyboards) is not included, although the studio provides professional base equipment. The transport of instruments to the studio and the management of insurance for the musician's personal equipment are the sole responsibility of the client.

Price calculation and VAT application

Our rates are presented transparently. The price per hour or day is calculated based on the actual time the room is used and the presence of the technician. For individual clients, the final price includes 21% VAT according to current Spanish regulations. For companies or freelancers, an invoice is issued breaking down the taxable base and the corresponding tax.

To secure the date, we request a deposit of 30% of the estimated total, as specified in our terms of service. The remaining amount is settled upon completion of the recording session.

What happens if I need more time than reserved?

If the studio has availability, we can extend the session by additional hours at the standard rate. However, we recommend reserving an extra time margin to avoid interruptions in the creative flow.

How are the final files delivered?

We deliver files via a secure digital download. You will receive the multi-tracks in WAV format, organized by track and correctly named, ready to be imported into any production software (DAW).

Is it mandatory to pay a deposit to book?
